Last night I did not wake myself up coughing, and this morning I did not feel an atavistic need to drink hot Breathe Easy tea with honey.
I think I'm better.
Which is good, as we're going to Jamaica at the crack of dawn tomorrow, joining some friends who're going to a secluded beach there to write.
Delia gets to stay the entire week, but I'm coming back to do the 92nd St Y Family Hanukkah Festival (http://www.92y.org/shop/event_detail.asp?category=Age888TE%5FWonderplay+Ma in888Wonderplay+%2D+Classes888Shabbat+Programs+for +Families888&productid=T%2DBL5JH08)on Sunday. (The event runs from 10:30-2:30 (http://www.timeout.com/newyork/event/around-town/372999/hanukkah-family-festival). I'll be doing two 30-minute Golden Dreyd (http://www.sff.net/people/kushnerSherman/Kushner/dreydl.html)l shows, at 12 and 12:45, selling my books in between.)
So if you don't hear from me for a few days, that's why. I think there will be internet access in Jamaica, but I also understand that most of our little band has taken a Pledge of Abstention for the duration - and there are some real hardcore cases coming . . . . Well, we'll see.
