Fans of Sound & Spirit (http://www.wgbh.org/pages/pri/spirit/listen.html) old and new have thrilled to the credits ending with, "Our production secretary is Titilayo (tee-tee-LAH-yo) Ngwenya (n'-GWEN-ya)" - Titi also wrote several of our shows, including Women Without Virtue and this week's broadcast, The Spirit Confined (http://www.wgbh.org/pages/pri/spirit/listen.html)!
A talented musician, she left the show to seek her fortune in NYC, and she'll be performing at a competition in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) this week - I'll be in K'zoo, so if you're around please head out there and cheer for our Titi!

Hello friends and true believers!
I'm excited to announce that I made it to the 2nd round of the Williamsburg Live Songwriter Competition with my song "Backwards." I will play the song live on Thursday night at a club called Matchless (see link). I'll be competing against several other performing songwriters, and if I win that night, I go on to the semi-finals the following night and then the finals! So come on out for an exciting night of music!
