Well, that episode rocked. Easily the best of the season, which had been improving all season, and I'd say one of the best of the series as well.
The advent of over 9000 new powered people, all concentrated in Seattle, and the apparent takeover of the city as well allow for a totally new world next season. To some extent I'd be hoping to see what it meant for more and more people to have super powers this season, but instead we just concentrated on a few troublesome cases. Next season I'm sure they're going to drop that shoe.
And beyond that, wow ...
Poor Sean is really all alone now, but the moment between him, Tom, and Kyle was terrific.
Isabel's redemption was great as well because it really paid off the changes that we'd seen in her earlier in the season.
I hope that we haven't seen the end of The Marked plotline. Just because they can now be dealt with doesn't mean it should be easy.

Looking over at tv.com I see that the season finales for seasons 2, 3, and 4 are three of the four top-rated episodes for the show. They just need to learn how to push that momentum into the season premieres too!
