Well, here it is, the penultimate episode of the show, and I was quite pleased to see things coming together, even if not in the ways I expected.

The Tom plot has moved along at a nice clip. In that final scene, I knew that he was going to get shot down, though it was still surprising to see. I guess that frees him up from potential-death-from-promicin as a season finale, as that'd just be repetitive at this point. I still expect that they're going to find out the shot is the way to free him next ep.

It was good to see the Danny plot brought back up after so long. He didn't die from the shot, but he did show off the fact that there still could be serious consequences from taking the shot. It looks to me like he has the anti-Jordan power: he can give people promicin, but woe to those around him in the bad side of the 50%. Danny's power is exactly what's required if Jordan does get turned, and one wonders about the coincidence of it appearing at this exact time.

It was somewhat disappointing to see Isabelle turn evil again, though her line saying that she thought she'd changed too was nice.

And we continue to see that Kyle is being controlled by his "ability" rather than vice versa. I'd really like to see that resolved in some way in the next episode, but I suspect it might be a dangler into next season.

Overall I got to say that they resolved one of my main problems from the early season: fight-the-future has taken center stage.
