Well, I was glad that the April plot didn't hang around too long, though I feel like the show is violating a law of consequence (and good storytelling) by now showing us two major characters (Kyle and April) who have taken promicin without bad effects. How can we believe that 50% of people die, when the show doesn't show us those consequences in a visceral way?
(Which probably means that Danny is entirely doomed if he takes the shot, but we'll see.)
The main plot was interesting if a bit convoluted, and I was utterly aghast that not a single governmental agent said anything about April's power amounting to illegal coercion that wouldn't hold up in court. I could see a black-ops agency wanting to use her, but I don't understand the lack of morals and procedure that everyone in NTAC demonstrated.
Very little to say about the arc plot, because it all seemed to be moving along swimmingly: Sean's new rule as traitor and Kyle and Isabel's alliance both get gold stars. I still think Kyle is being manipulated by the future, especially with the comments about this book being 85 years old ... again, who could put something like that in the past? The futurists.
The bit about Ben and Diana getting married because Maia saw it reminded me of a theory from last year: I was convinced that Maia was lying about the whole thing, and just manipulated events because she liked Ben and wanted a family. I'm not convinced we'll get follow-up at this point, but maybe.
And poor Maia ... another episode where she's seen but not heard, a sure sign of a show that has more cast members than budget.
