Well, last night I got 20 pages edited and 335 words added, bringing me to the end of the first chapter of Seven for a Secret. I have reminded myself that yes, the major thematic elements of the story are in the title, as they should be--secrets and lies, right? And the writing is actually smoother than I remembered. So now I just have to solve the plot problem and punch up the thematic argument, and continue my line-editing fuss, and I can call it done.
Hmm. Wonder how I can come at that?
