In a word, why? Why do we need to see more Clone Wars? I mean, the cartoons were fun and all, but why not do something new?

I don't think I'm just prequel-whining here, and I apologize if I'm pissing in anyone's cereal of choice. I'm just saying that I got back from an all-night marathon of the unmolested original trilogy last night, and there is no comparison - I don't give a damn about Count Dooku, ninja Yoda, or Threepio's antics. I want to see new characters, Jedi battling the Dark within WITHOUT us knowing how it's going to end. I want to see heroes who are just as incompetent as Luke was in A New Hope, not superninjas. Seriously, what gives?

I have to agree.

I loved and own the CloneWars DVD's. They're great. The animation style is quirky, but pretty fitting to StarWars. I would have much rather seen a new series focusing possibly in the KOTOR era, or maybe the New Republic Era, or something.

When I saw your thread title, I asked the same thing you did "Why more CloneWars?".
