Two questions about computers for a story I'm writing:
What is a popular computer game suitable for teens and/or grown men, with perhaps a soft-core prn element, from about five years ago. I have Grand Theft Auto for now, but only because I don't know the names of any others.
Then for a plot element I want to have computer files with text and pics that are "protected" by some password system. The system must deter a first attempt to open the files but then a novice manages to get through the first level, either by figuring out the password; then at a trickier stage by hacking his way in. How easy/hard is it to do that? Does it take advanced computer skills or can patience do the job?
