Book index ratings dropdowns

When I go to my own index page and then click on View User's Collection, the page I get includes a number of drop-down boxes for changing 'Own' and the ratings value. Very convenient thing to have. However, it is very inconsistent about which books have the boxes -- a number of them do not on my page. I suspect that these are books for which I have indicated I own a book other than the 'primary' edition.

Also, it would be nice to have the capacity to list all my ratings and comments on books, even unowned ones, the same way, so I can go through and reassess ratings fairly easily (merely by saying X is better than Y.) I suggest adding a 'Rated' tab to the Search options.

It's actually a long-standing problem with the index software that has to do with the fact that you're rating books, not editions, yet the collection shows editions.

Figuring out the best way to solve it requires some deeper insight, and unfortunately isn't that likely to happen soon.
