I believe this is the complete listing of network Fall SF TV, culled from the upfronts that I was looking up last week.

MONDAY

HEROES (NBC, 9pm). The Heroes are back for their sophomore season.

JOURNEYMAN (NBC, 10pm). Journeying to the past to set right what once was wrong.

TUESDAY

CAVEMEN (ABC, 8pm). A 30-minute comedy drawn from a commercial, showing how low ABC has fallen.

NEW AMSTERDAM (ABC, 8pm). Immortal New York homicide detective.

REAPER (CW, 9pm). The devil's bounty hunter, by executive producer Kevin Smith.

WEDNESDAY

PUSHING DAISIES (ABC, 8pm). He brings dead people back to life, and asks who killed them.

BIONIC WOMAN (NBC, 9pm). Another 1970s rehash, from one of the producers of Battlestar.

THURSDAY

SMALLVILLE (CW, 8pm). The seventh and one would guess final season of the Superman teen drama.

SUPERNATURAL (CW, 9pm). The brothers continue battling spirits in season three of their show, one of the few shows that was put up in the wake of Lost and actually survived.

FRIDAY

GHOST WHISPERER (CBS, 8pm). Season 3 of this drama, making it the other post-Lost survivor.

MOONLIGHT (CBS, 9pm). A brooding vampire detective.

MIDSEASON SHOWS:

The following are midseason replacements, which usually means January: Eli Stone (ABC), Lost (ABC), The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Fox).

Why did you cancel the REAL Angel? Why cancel it and then make inferior knockoffs, dammit?

Well the obvious answer is that CBS didn't. They just aren't above shamelessly reanimating the soulless corpse of Angel and filing off the serial numbers.

I'm wondering why they changed the name from Forever Knight.

That's looking like a crap lineup. I might give Reaper a try due to Kevins involvement, but nothing else new is of interest (well till I hear some more about the Sarah Connor show).

Its looking like a bad year for TV. Of course the upside is shows that I get into can't be cancelled now.

That's the first thing I thought. Also, my ex-wife will rage at this. :)

Not that I've helped since I just sent her the first two seasons of Forever Knight on DVD.

On a tangent, Forever Knight is available at Walmart for less than $20 per season for the first two seasons. :D I just wish they would make the third season available for the same price.
