The necklace, by the [Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('lovely (http://tinyurl.com/29w9ta) , is titled "Defense of the Realm." I borrowed it for the evening. I also doused myself beforehand with Blenheim Bouquet beforehand, so that after a fairly riotous dinner I could invite curious LJ readers to sniff my chest. Which they did. Tea smoked duck can make a woman do terrible things.
