This forum needs to start kicking some ass. How do we get more people to post here?

Does a guy in Spock ears count? Seriously though I think that most people are in the habit of going to Other Media over at RPGnet. Not sure anything but time will change that.

The best thing I can suggest is to post frequently. Forums that are lively and have interesting new posts every time you come by are more likely to get people to stick. To help get things started I've not only been posting frequently, but also actively seeking out news items of interest (and posting about them).

Also of use is to link from any journals or other web pages you have. I made up some graphics here:

For my part, I'll keep adding things of use, and am trying to get some additional real advertising out.

Removing the Other Media forum from RPG.net might help. I feel this site is redundant to that, so I spend most of my time over there.

I suspect I'd be lynched if I removed Other Media from RPGnet.

In any case, I hope we can draw from a much larger pool of people than just RPGnet. I also think that we've already proven that this sort of site can provide a better place to discuss *books*, which had infrequent discussions at RPGnet, but some great threads here.

Yah, I like this place's focus on the books itself, but also has media and other things. It makes me pretty happy.
