Wow. That was awesome.

Though it killed one cool long held theory that was floating around.

A few questions though.

1. Lanas Pregnancy. If Lex didn't fake it, I guess that means Lionel did. As if blackmailing Lana with Clarks death wasn't bad enough.

2. Lanas Death. Given lex isn't behind it, I guess that means Lana set the whole thing up to escape Lex and Smallville.

I haven't watched Smallville in a very long time but I tuned in about half way through last night while waiting for Supernatural to start. I have a question about the Lionel Luthor. Good guy, bad guy, morally ambiguous middle ground? I know he started out a right bastard but then began to waffle a bit. I'm just curious where he stands now.

Lionel started off bad. I think that changed after he was possessed by Jor El. Since then, they've played it both ways to keep people wondering. After the season finale, they seem to be leaning toward 'good guy'...or just another layer of deception.

On an issue in the season finale:
Didn't a van pass between Lionel and Lana just before the car blew up? She's not dead. Didn't see her die, didn't see a body. (IMO.)

Hmmm, I didn't see that but I was painting while watching so could have easily missed it.

And thanks for the update on Lionel.

I could be mis-remembering. I didn't record it, so I can't check. I just know they made a point of showing the van, even though it never did anything obvious. I usually interpret that as having future significance.

It's a fair assumption.

A postal van drove through right before the explosion.
