Omigod. BBC 4 is running a series (http://www.channel4.com/history/microsites/C/city-of-vice/index.html) set in Georgian London in which "Brothers Henry and John Fielding and the newly formed Bow Street Runners are given their first murder case. . . " (http://www.channel4.com/history/microsites/C/city-of-vice/video_preview.html)! And Episode 2 seems to involve a Mollie House.
Has anyone seen it? Is it worth the agony of upgrading various computer thingies to be able to watch it On Demand? (Or when they say "Watch it on your PC" do they really mean No Macs....?) How hard would it be to get a copy of this to watch on an actual TV bigger than a breadbox?
