So far there are fourteen valid candidates for Death in '08.
Two others are protected by technical irregularities: they were nominated by Anonymous. Those two: Grover Norquist and Alberto Gonzales. Congratulations, boys. Take off their blindfolds and let them go back to their seats in the auditorium!

I think one can fairly say we have achieved diversity, if not perfect balance. At least 3 religions, both sexes, 3 races, and 4 nationalities. A preponderance of politicos and talking heads, but a sprinkling of Others, too.
The polls are still open for another week. Post any new candidates here. It will be easier for other visitors to keep track. Meanwhile Death himself thanks you for all your contributions to his suggestion box.
