Love & Sleep is printed, though not yet "in print" in the sense of being on the stands, and I have received the digital scan of the pages of Dæmonomania to correct. I read the first pages, the Prologue, and thought they were very funny. I have been puzzled that readers seem not to find these books as funny as I do. (It's said that Kafka when he read his stories aloud to friends used to laugh a lot, though none of the hearers did, which puzzled him. Not that I'm him, or trying to be him or claim to be like him, or compare myself to him, or hope to fool others into thinking I am in some sense like him or equivalent to him, or as good as he is or as deep or excellent, or anything resembling these claims or other similarly egregious ones.)
