I just grabbed Tru Calling from Netflix, and I've watched the first two episodes, and I've been surprised to see it didn't suck.
Does it continue to be an OK show throughout its run?
(No spoilers past the first few eps, please.)

I tried to watch it and give the show its due but life got in the way after the first few episodes. I have a couple of friends who watched religiously and loved it from beginning to end. I wish I could give you better info than that.

I saw most of the first season, and thought it was pretty good. There is also apparently a partial 2nd season that apparently only showed overseas, but I've not seen any of those.

Well I've now seen up to episode 4. That first disk off to Netflix, and it'll be a bit before I get the next because I'm watching some other things currently.
(Spoilers up to ep.4)
The thing that keeps the show interesting for me is that it involves Tru's real life in important ways, giving her opportunities not just to save others, but to improve her own life too. Of course, there's only so many times that she can save her siblings from themselves before it gets redundant, and after just 4 episodes we're unfortunately already approaching that point.
I find her boss intriguing, because I'm convinced that he must know more than is immediately obvious.
Conversely her brother's skepticism (or Scullyism if you prefer) is a bit annoying, as is Tru's general refusal to save flat out what's going to happen rather than hinting around the issue.
In any case, I'm definitely continuing on with ep.5 as soon as I finish the other series I'm working on. (I've got the last disks of season 3 of Enterprise and season 2 of Rescue Me on the way.)

Yup, half-a-dozen episodes or so, co-starring an "evil leaper" as it were. They're out on DVD.

My partner got me into this and I was pleasantly surprised, especially by the way that the changed elements of how they plotted the thing a few times - they did a lot of good stuff with the format. It's worth watching through.
And Eliza Dushku running in a tight top!

Well, I tended to see him as more her polar opposite, the force of fate personified against her Human ability to make a change. It's a real shame they never got to do more with those two - I think that it would have been fascinating.
Yet again, FOX cancells a cool show.

I enjoyed it. Mostly, at first, because of who the star was, but I started to appreciate it for itself afterwards. :) I thought the first season dragged a little in the middle once the initial novelty had worn off, but then they started experimenting more with the format, playing with twists and different ideas, looking at the effects of things on people, and that made it interesting again.
Then the second season got cancelled half-way through, so the ongoing plot elements they were starting to develop just cut off suddenly. :(
